Bring on the substitutes!

Brighton And Hove Albion return back to the Amex victorious from Turf Moore after a spirited 2-1 win against Burley on the Premier League's season opener.

What started out as a rocky start to the new season for Brighton after conceding within the first minute and a half of the game due to James Tarkowsk controversial challenge on Brighton's Neal Maupay, that reminded unfouled after a quick VAR check.

Turned into a great result for seagulls after substitutes Jakub Moder, Adam Lallana and Alexis Mac Allister were brought into the mix and making an immediate impact. Resulting in Brighton equalising in the 73rd minute due to Maypay and Moder bringing them back into the fame. Then, Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister and Pascal Gross ensured the seagulls took the win back nome to the Amex by scoring again five minutes later in the 78th minute

Head Coach Graham Potter was full of praise for his team after securing their first three points for the season:

The players were fantastic we said before the game because of what we have been through it was important that the guys finishing the game were ready to influence the game and they did.

“…I thought the team performance got better, we attacked better, controlled things better.

"But you still have to defend your box here fight and scrap which we did the players gave everything and in the en we got two really good goals I thought and that was enough to get us the three points,

The final score was 2-1 to Brighton with the Seagulls starting the new Premier League season off on the right foot by securing the three points,
